Several representatives of the port community, the Port of Huelva and HuelvaPort were present at the meeting organised by the Chamber Club of the Huelva Chamber of Commerce with companies from the province of Badajoz.

As a result of this meeting, a commission will be set up in which the Port Authority of Huelva will be integrated to promote initiatives that favour business cooperation, with the focus on converting our port into a natural gateway for goods from the neighbouring region of Extremadura.

The president of the Port Authority of Huelva, Pilar Miranda, highlighted the opportunity to be able to show this delegation today “the quality of our services and infrastructures, and at the same time we have been able to get to know their needs first hand so that, working together, we can set up our logistics projects”.

On the other hand, Miranda also wanted to highlight during today’s meeting the importance of the administrations working together to promote synergies that generate employment opportunities and wealth, hand in hand with entrepreneurs “who are the ones who create jobs”.
