The ferry “Volcán de Tinamar” returns to the Huelva-Canarias line of Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea after an exhaustive remodelling of its public and private spaces, carried out during its recent dry dock at the Navantia Cádiz facilities, where it was visited by the company’s CEO and CCO, Sergio Vélez and Oscar Martínez.

The works have involved the renovation of furniture, seating areas, floors, terraces, swimming pool, dining room, cabins, sanitary facilities and various equipment. The decoration of the ship’s two suites has been replaced, various improvements have been made to the VIP seating lounges and the lighting on board has been renewed, as well as a thorough renovation of the decks and painting and tiling of the swimming pool, which is now equipped with a larger number of chill-out hammocks. Likewise, the digitalisation of all the screens and the public address system on board have been renewed with new message and equipment control systems.

“Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea has made a notable investment on board this ferry, which is one of the most appreciated and highly valued ships in the Spanish Merchant Navy,” the company reports. In fact, this has been amply demonstrated on any of the lines where it has operated (Alboran and Balearic Islands) “and now reaffirms its capacity, prestige and level of service on board in its current role on the Huelva-Canary Islands line”, it adds.
